TRUTH FOR DOUBT MINISTRIES AT A GLANCE

Truth for Doubt offers completely free online classes, podcasts, videos (coming soon), and articles to help others use Christian apologetics as a tool for evangelism.

WHY IS IT CALLED TRUTH FOR DOUBT?

We live in a world full of doubt. Unbelievers doubt in the existence of God, the reliability of the Bible and if the truth claims of Jesus can be believed. Even Christians can fall into seasons of doubt. It is my goal to show that even when surrounded by unbelief and doubt, the truth of Christ does not disappear. We can find comfort in the fact that Jesus is who He says He is and we can rest in His promises.

WHAT IS APOLOGETICS ANYWAY?

Put simply, apologetics is the defense of the Christian faith. The word apologetics comes from 1 Peter 3:15 which says, "but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." The word defense in this passage is the Greek word apologia, which literally means to give a defense. Christian apologetics seeks to give answers to the questions and objections unbelievers have about the Christian faith. Apologetics does not simply seek to give cold answers to the questions of unbelievers. Instead, apologetics shows that Christianity is not simply blind faith, but that we serve a living God.
